Certainly not the easiest drive, but with some planning, you can make this an enjoyable journey taking in all the incredible sights and nature you’ll encounter. If you prefer not to drive this challenging road, I still encourage you to watch this tour as it is one of the most gorgeous places I have seen and I am happy to share the incredible nature with you.

Not only am I driving to Hana with multiple stops along the way, but also continuing past Hana to the coastal area of the Haleakala National Park. This is definitely not a stop to miss. The massive Waimoku waterfall speaks for itself - one of the most amazing moments of my journey was just standing there watching the water cascade down that massive cliff. I was totally in awe…

After that, I continue on the backside of the Haleakala volcano. There are some things you need to know if you plan going that way as it is a very rough road to drive on.
